Our service is designed around tangata whaiora and we shall attempt to provide any resource and information needed.

We shall provide our service either:

• at Whakapai Hauora
• in the home of tangata whaiora
• on the Marae
• in outreach clinics based in Shannon, Foxton, and Otaki (please phone for more information)
• any other community venue where tangata whaiora feel comfortable and  appropriate

Our Kaupapa is to provide tikanga based Mental Health and Addiction Services in a learning back to wellbeing environment within the whare tapa wha model.

Our service includes:

Kaupapa Alcohol and Drug Services including:

• A & D Clinical & Cultural Assessments
• A & D Counselling
• A & D Social Work Services
• Rangatahi A & D Social Services
• Basic Life Skills Programmes
• Activities Group
• Advocacy
• Strengthening Families Hui
• A & D Health Promotion and Education
• Ongoing support and follow up

Kaupapa Maori Mental Health Services including;

• Mental Health Assessments
• Reducing barriers to Primary Care Services
• Working with Tangata Whaiora in developing Packages of Care
• Reducing risks of more severe mental illnesses
• Ongoing support and follow up
